We are seeking an architectural partner to realize a landmark Midrise (MR) residential project on the Alki Trail. Our goal is to create a high-density, sustainable masterpiece that captures the spirit of the Pacific Northwest through “Modern Contemporary” design.
Program Specifications
- The Collection: 3 Single-Floor Luxury Residences and 1 Flagship Two-Story Penthouse.
- The View Factor: Unobstructed orientation toward Puget Sound, maximizing the Olympic Mountains and maritime traffic.
- Subterranean Infrastructure: Integrated garage and high-speed elevator servicing all levels.
Selection Criteria
Ideal partners will demonstrate a balance of artistic form and cost-effective buildability, with specific expertise in:
- Regulatory Precision: Deep experience navigating SDCI and Shoreline District requirements.
- Sustainability Leadership: A proven portfolio in Net-Zero construction or low-carbon modern materials (CLT).
- Waterfront Mastery: Resilience-focused engineering for salt-air environments and coastal wind loads.
Submission Guidelines

- Portfolio: Highlighting “Modern Contemporary” multifamily projects in Seattle.
- Approach: A brief overview of experience with prefab or green building envelopes.
- Concept Study (Optional): A high-level vision for a 4-unit structure on a 3,480 sq. ft. footprint.
